REVLITE™ LASER FACIAL

Face | 45 mins | £150
Face & Neck | 60 mins | £175
Face, Neck & Décolletage | 75 mins | £200

Revlite™ is a groundbreaking treatment that utilises PhotoAcoustic Technology, resulting in pain-free treatments with next to no downtime!

A safe and gentle skin rejuvenation treatment, Revlite™ uses non-invasive light energy to stimulate natural collagen production, in turn reducing pore size and the appearance of fine lines. In addition, the 1064nm and 532nm wavelengths of Revlite™ effectively target both superficial and deep pigmented lesions in the skin, making it an ideal laser for treating almost all forms of skin hyperpigmentation.

Revlite™ also causes immediate but temporary bleaching of fine vellus hairs on the face. Clients with darker “peach fuzz” facial hair often report this as an added benefit due to the lightening effect helping the skin to appear brighter.

Please note, Revlite™ is a safe and effective treatment for ALL skin types. Click here to learn more about how skin types are classified and which treatments are best suited to you.

IPL PHOTOFACIAL

Face | 45 mins | £197
Face & Neck | 60 mins | £250
Face, Neck & Décolletage | 75 mins | £275

The Lynton 3JUVE® is designed to tackle the three main signs of ageing: discolouration (redness and sun damage/hyperpigmentation), fine lines/wrinkles, and  skin laxity. By utilising light to deliver optimum stimulation of the dermis and epidermis, we  can stimulate the renewal of collagen whilst creating a more even tone and texture.

IPL is also a great treatment option for the neck and décolletage. As areas often exposed to the sun, signs of UV damage can start to show in many of us from as young as 25. Chronic damage in this area is often characterised by reddish brown ripply skin. IPL can help reduce the severity of its appearance by rebuilding collagen, destroying superficial blood vessels, and breaking down excess pigment.

Please note, this treatment is not suitable for Fitzpatrick skin types 4-6 or anyone with an active sun tan (including fake tan). Clients with skin type 4-6 wishing to tackle the above concerns might want to consider microneedling as a safe and effective alternative. If you are skin type 1-3 but currently have a sun tan, you should wait at least 6 weeks before undertaking any laser or IPL treatments.

Please ensure you have read the IPL photofacial pre-treatment and aftercare advice before scheduling your consultation.

CONSULTATION - LASER & IPL

If you’re looking to undertake a laser or IPL treatment, it’s essential we perform a patch test to ensure their are no adverse reactions, as well as to discuss your goals/concerns and ensure there are no contraindications that would prevent treatment going ahead. This consultation will take place with Gary in-person at the Angel Laser Clinic in Islington, London.

Revlite™ FAQs

  • Revlite™ is a safe and effective treatment for ALL skin types (including black skin). IPL can only be used on skin types 1-3. Please click here to learn more about skin types.

Revlite™ has less downtime and less discomfort when compared to IPL, though clients may see quicker results with the IPL Photofacial.

All options will be discussed in detail during your consultation.

  • This will depend on the severity of your condition and your specific skin goals, but you should expect a significant improvement after 6-9 treatments. Some will get a noticeable improvement after just a few sessions.

  • This will depend on the condition you are treating, but you should start to see an improvement in your skin after 3-6 sessions.

  • Depending on your age, environment and lifestyle, the collagen synthesis resulting from your treatment can last up to 5 years.

If left unprotected, skin that’s exposed to the sun (even in winter!) may see a resurgence of pigmentation. For this reason it is advised that you wear a broad spectrum sunscreen all year round following your treatment.

  • The skin may be a little flushed for a day, though this tends to subside very quickly. It is advised that you avoid excessive heat/sweating and sun exposure for 48 hours, though you can otherwise continue with your usual activities immediately following your treatment.

  • No! There is some heat felt during treatment, but this is minimal and does not cause discomfort. No cooling is required during this treatment.

  • If the hair is less than 2cm long, you can leave it as it is. It’s worth noting, however, that Revlite™ causes temporary bleaching of hair. This may not be a concern for vellus (“peach fuzz”) hair, but you may want to shave thicker, darker hair (such as facial stubble) ahead of your treatment if you don’t want this hair to be lightened.

This can be discussed during your consultation.

  • Although a very safe treatment, it’s important we ensure you are a suitable candidate for the Revlite™ and that there are no contraindications preventing treatment.

A patch test must be performed to check there are no adverse reactions to the laser. Once 24 hours has passed without issue, we can go ahead with the full treatment.

IPL FAQs

  • Laser is light of a specific wavelength which makes it very good at dealing with individual targets. IPL contains a range of wavelengths which makes it perfect for dealing with a multitude of concerns at once e.g. red broken veins and brown pigmentation.

  • This will depend on the severity of your condition and your specific skin goals, but you should expect a significant improvement after 3-6 treatments. Some will get a good improvement after just one.

  • This will depend on the condition you are treating. Sun/age spots usually improve just a few days after treatment; broken veins and redness can take a few weeks.

  • Broken veins, redness and pigmentation are often caused or made worse by the sun. No matter how well you protect your skin, as time goes by, these problems may slowly return but can be kept at bay with occasional top-up treatments once or twice a year.

  • The skin may be red/flushed for a day or two, during which time you should avoid excessive heat/sweating, and avoid sun exposure.

  • Clients describe a range of sensations during treatment from tingling, to the snapping of a rubber band, and some areas are more sensitive than others. Cold air can be applied during the treatment to keep the skin cool and minimise discomfort.

  • If the hair is thick and dark, you will need to shave it prior to your treatment. This is to avoid the hairs absorbing all the energy from the laser and rendering it less effective for the skin. If you do not want to shave, we can leave areas with hair untreated.

This can be discussed during your consultation.

  • It’s important we ensure you are a suitable candidate for IPL and that there are no contraindications preventing treatment.

A patch test must be performed to check there are no adverse reactions from to the IPL. Once 24 hours has passed without issue, we can go ahead with the full treatment.
